Pips H Banks Consignment. Beauty and the Beasts. PCGS has certified all seven examples within this group lot that includes six Chopmarked Trade dollars and a lone Morgan silver dollar. The six Chopmarked Trade silver dollars includes an 1875-S VF Details Environmental Damage, an 1875-S AU Details Cleaned, an 1875-S XF Details Environmental Damage, an 1876-S XF Details Environmental Damage, an 1876-S AU-55, and an 1878-S XF Details Environmental Damage. A lone Morgan silver dollar is a truly stunning 1884-CC that has been graded as MS-65 and resides in an older green label holder (ck).

Lot #700 - 1921 Peace, High Relief NGC MS-66+

13 graded MS-66+, 8 higher at NGC. The mintage of a million pieces does little to describe why the 1921 is so common near basal mint-state grades yet profoundly scarce at the superb gem grade level, a grade for which this tremendously vigorous example clamors. The strike falls decidedly into the "better-than-average" category but as always for the high-relief 1921s, it is hopelessly incomplete at the centers. Adorable almond-yellow patina absolutely blossoms across both sides and takes full advantage of marvelous, satin-matte surfaces that are hardly ever disturbed by contact. Any abrasions found with a loupe prove to be minuscule and utterly innocuous to the eye-appeal.

Here’s a unique jewelry piece featuring a center flower that trembles with every move the wearer makes. Known as an "En Tremblant," the center flower is wired to the base so that it can move freely. The piece can serve as either a pin or as a pendant and it holds four natural opals, small pearl accents and a larger pearl that dangles from the bottom. Dimensions 1.5” x 1.3”, 4.5 dwt.
