  • Lot #500 - 1852-O PCGS AU-58
  • Hammer: $8,250
  • Gold $20-Liberty Head Double Eagle
  • 49 graded AU-58, 27 higher at PCGS. A single reed mark on the cheek provides by far the most obvious sign of contact since the balance of either side remains unexpectedly free from marks -- remarkable for the issue. Much like the preceding 1851-O, these early New Orleans issues are not extremely rare within the AU grades but become virtually impossible to locate in UNC.

  • Lot #739 - 1937-S MS-65 CAC, and a 1941-D MS-66, both PCGS
  • Hammer: $700
  • Half Dollars-Walking Liberty
  • Even Keel Consignment. First is 1937-S with a brilliant, blazing white reverse and almond-gold on the obverse joined by tantalizing splashes of aqua and russet-orange. Accompanying is 1941-D with devastating, frosty white luster and an essentially clean obverse right field. Two coin lot.
