Half Cents-Draped Bust
Bachelor Simon Collection. Cohen-13, plain 4, stemless, and a generally readily available Redbook entry, though obviously at AU-55, this is a sharp and pleasing example. The obverse appears slightly glossy compared to the reverse and either side appears free from major abrasions -- the reverse unusually so. Bold deep brown coloration provides a nice visual impression of completely original preservation.

Included are: 1877-R 5-lire, KM#8.4 (lustrous pewter-grey that includes mossy golden hues at the periphery; one of the most counterfeited coins in the world by some accounts), and 1881-R 2 lire, KM#23 (rare in such high certified grade and significantly prooflike despite a blanket of smoke-blue and ebony-chartreuse toning). Lot #308 - Native American Unsigned Squash Blossom

Circa 1960/1970, this overly large sterling silver (tested, not marked) and chrysocolla squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and a 7-stone Naja at the bottom. With an overly bold design, the stone used in the making emulates a darker grade of turquoise than usually found in this type of necklace. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 26”, 8.40 troy ounces.
