The Trade silver dollar is among the shortest-lived series of coins to ever be issued by the United States Mint and that creates a supply shortage that is easily noticed by any collector of the type. There are nine examples of this short-lived series in this group lot that includes the following: an 1876 (AU details, cleaned), 4x 1877 (XF), 3x 1877-S (XF details, cleaned), and an 1878-S (F). Silver Dollar-Morgan
28 graded MS-65+, 53 higher at PCGS. While the reverse is only lightly toned with silvery-character overall, surrounded by a nice ring of amber gold, the obverse offers even more attractive peach coloration that dazzles the eye because of ravishing mint luster. San Francisco was back in the habit of striking high-quality dollars by 1887, as is quickly discernible by every last detail erupting within Liberty's tresses as well as within the eagle's feathers. No major marks at all affect the surface.
