  • Lot #915 - 1909-S VDB Lincoln PCGS MS-63RB
  • Small Cents-Lincoln, Wheat
  • Motor Man Collection. Nearly pinpoint details show throughout, particularly over finely delineated curls in Lincoln's hair and beard. Both sides display a textbook perfect admixture of copper and tan-brown coloration that shows at worst a carbon fleck or two, as well as extremely faint superficial hairlines in the obverse upper right field.

  • Lot #414 - 1878 PCGS MS-64+ CAC
  • Hammer: $5,500
  • Gold $3-Indian Princess Head
  • THE common entry for the three dollar gold piece, 1878 most often serves type purposes near the gem grade level. That said, this is an exceptional example for MS-64+, utterly filled with tortoise-shell luster patterns and dominated by beautiful, fresh medium golden color. A small copper spot escapes between the first two digits of the date.
