  • Lot #417 - 1882-CC PCGS AU-55
  • Hammer: $4,900
  • Gold $5-Liberty Head Half Eagle
  • While more commonly encountered than other Carson City fives, 1882-CC has a curious number of AU examples outnumbering all other grade ranges, and it suddenly becomes rare in mint-state. Five points of circulation limits luster to some extent, yet ample vibrancy remains visible nearer the peripheries. Several dots of greenish PVC on the reverse strongly warrant professional conservation.

  • Circa 1960/1970 and signed by an unknown maker, here’s a sterling silver (tested) squash blossom necklace. With turquoise cabs that look like they might be from the Kingman mine, this necklace features a seven stone Naja pendant as well as 10 blossoms and a hook/eye closure. Possibly Navajo origin. Length 22”, 5.60 troy ounces.
