VAM-5B, attribution made slightly more difficult by the presence of a mottled array of almond-green, mossy indigo and turquoise hues strewn entirely across the obverse. The reverse shows attractive white brilliance and speaks to a tremendous strike that borders perfection.

VAM-14. While a thinly doubled profile is one characteristic of this VAM, a more telltale pickup point should be the way a reverse die crack traverses "ED ST" through the wing tip. A choice white example with a very good strike, the present 1890-CC features substantially less abrading of the cheek than usual, but does show delicate planchet striations over and through Liberty's ear.
