A sweet spot for collectors, MS-62 represents an ideal grade level for which to assemble a nicer set of Indian quarter-eagles. Included here are: 1911 (dusky orange and a delicate curly pinscratch on the cheek), 1913 (delightful matte khaki-gold texture), and 1915 (a trifle glossy and showing considerable amber overtone). Rather decent for MS-63, some steely lavender-grey carpets the obverse, while honey-beige predominates on the reverse. Both sides appear to have mildly reflective fields as could befit an earlier strike. Trivially marked by coin-to-coin contact that does nothing to detract in the grand scheme.
