"Eye appeal" is in the eyes of the beholder but one would be hard-pressed to find anything not appealing about such a superbly preserved half-eagle with clean lines and marvelous definition. This smooth, softly frosted surface offers a hint of lime-green within the recesses and showboats virtually no distinguishable abrasions.
