US Currency-National Bank Notes
The Citizens National Bank of Sedalia, Missouri. Based on tracing adjacent serial numbers, one might suspect a cache of these Sedalia tens was found and dispersed at some point in the distant past. Now, collectors have an opportunity to obtain this example that boasts razor-sharp signatures and superb margins. Quarter Dollars-Liberty Seated
Briggs 1-A. 13 graded VF-30, 15 higher at PCGS. Listed in the Redbook, the "small date" is one of the most difficult of all Seated Liberty quarters, and struck early in the series such that virtually all are circulated. This nearly ebony, grey-toned example displays a faint hint of rose hue within the fields, contrasting with neutral grey on the devices. Remnants of grungy deposits occasion the reverse periphery.
