A trio of commoner Morgan dollars are all blazing white except for a brief amount of patina on the reverse of 1898-O. Accompanying are: 1886 (nearly fully detailed and booming luster), and 1887 (not quite as fully struck but showing a faint whisper of semi-prooflike cameo). Three coin lot.

Incredibly original as if just plucked out of its tissue-paper environment, both sides offer charming orange-grey and almond patina. The MS-64/65 fence for the Sesquicentennial is always dependent upon how many abrasions land on the cheek, and in this case, that marvelous patina helps to subdue a handful of tiny nicks. An absolutely marvelous example.
