  • Lot #933 - Six Uncirculated silver commemorative half dollars, all PCGS
  • Hammer: $1,025
  • Silver Commemoratives-Silver Commemoratives Half-Dollars
  • A six pack of various Classic Commemorative half-dollars fills this entirely PCGS certified group lot with very attractive and original examples. Included in this lot is an 1892 Columbian MS-65, a 1936 Robinson MS-65, a 11936 Wisconsin MS-64, a 1936 York MS-66, a 1937 Roanoke MS-66, and a 1952 Washington-Carver MS-65. While each of these examples are deserving of the assigned grades, the Roanoke and York stand above the crowd and could offer future CAC submission potential (ck).

  • Lot #442 - 1901-S PCGS MS-64
  • Hammer: $700
  • Gold $5-Liberty Head Half Eagle
  • FS-501 (?). Multiple mintmark varieties exist for 1901-S but this appears to be the "large S over micro S", although slight abrading may be confusing the issue. A coin replete with eye-appeal and perhaps additional appeal given the misshapen mintmark.
