  • Lot #926 - 1920-D PCGS MS-64RD CAC
  • Hammer: $475
  • Small Cents-Lincoln, Wheat
  • Rich burgundy overtakes the entire surface and apparently manages to retain just enough copper hue to warrant a full "RD" designation. Faint copper spotting of the obverse may be limiting the grade while on balance, fairly well defined features help elevate the appeal. Ideal brick-orange luster on the reverse.

  • Lot #295 - 1850 $5 Moffat PCGS AU-50
  • Hammer: $7,500
  • Territorial Gold-Territorial Gold
  • Morals And Liberty Collection. Kagin-7c (R.4), large eagle reverse. While the eagle's portrait on the reverse is not as refined as for K-7a or K-7b, the engraving work for the peripheral letters is of superior quality. A rather remarkable example for only AU-50, significant luster remains evident even after ten points of wear and the surface features nice, orange-gold coloration. Wonderfully problem-free and a truly great opportunity for the private gold collector.
