No CAM designation was provided, although that never seems to have been the intent by the strike format and such designation for these is pretty infrequent. Included are: 1952 1/2-pound (KM#42), intensely attractive and superbly preserved, and 1952 pound (KM#43). Two coin lot.

  • Bowers lists this misplaced date but it is seldom referenced elsewhere, which is too bad given how prominent the digits are within the denticles. They are especially visible on such a nice, high-grade example of this Civil War survivor. Neither side would truly pass as UNC under close inspection, but the amount of wear is paper-thin and the coin overall exhibits attractive golden color with pinkish lowlights.
