While all five dates within this run of Indian quarter-eagles may be considered “generic”, there is absolutely nothing “generic” about these five exquisite examples of this heavily sought after type! Each of these are NGC certified as MS-64 and includes a 1925-D, a 1926, a 1927, a 1928, and a 1929. Every example offers ample orange burst luster and incredibly clean fields that makes them more than deserving of their nearly Gem grade. Even the most critical collector would have a tough time finding fault with this grouping (ck).

3 graded PR-66+ CAM, 5 higher at NGC. Razor sharp obverse definition mates up well with bold but not quite perfect reverse sharpness for this shimmering, ostentatious proof type coin that also happens to be the same date as one of the well-known keys. All by itself, the obverse likely grades at least PR-67-plus but on the reverse, one can find a brief area of planchet imperfection beneath TED, limiting the grade.
