Dimes-Capped Bust
Revert Peaks Consignment. The collector putting together a Red Book collection of Capped Bust dimes can fill three holes quickly with this nicer, middle grade trio. Included are: 1821 large date (a little glossy but boldly detailed and showing gunmetal accents along with trace luster), 1827 (uncommonly original and boasting particularly sharp reverse detailing), and 1833 (very strong Fine with claims to VF and featuring lovely powder-grey patina and an utterly problem-free surface). Three coin lot.

Lot #755 - 1842-O Small Date PCGS VF-30

Quarter Dollars-Liberty Seated
Briggs 1-A. 13 graded VF-30, 15 higher at PCGS. Listed in the Redbook, the "small date" is one of the most difficult of all Seated Liberty quarters, and struck early in the series such that virtually all are circulated. This nearly ebony, grey-toned example displays a faint hint of rose hue within the fields, contrasting with neutral grey on the devices. Remnants of grungy deposits occasion the reverse periphery.
