  • Lot #594 - 1842 PCGS AU-50
  • Hammer: $1,225
  • Silver Dollar-Liberty Seated
  • Bachelor Simon Collection. From two perspectives, a borderline sensational circulated dollar as it features inimitably original fields overlaying generally smooth surfaces, as well as elaborate remaining sharpness that remains from an outstanding strike that has seen only ten points of wear. A fair number of small abrasions populate the field above the eagle, joined by two reedmarks and other random abrasions to Liberty's right, all camouflaged so nicely beneath that crusty patina.

  • Lot #790 - 1921-D AU FSB
  • Hammer: $1,450
  • Dimes-Mercury
  • Cataloger's grade: [AU/cleaned], with affirmation of cleaning most evident by the greyish-white, yet somehow lackluster surface texture. Details fall right into the sharpness range of 53/55 and include a noticeably bold central strike yielding two full, completely separated bands. A couple of irrelevant hairlines in the reverse right field seem to be the only surface anomalies worth mentioning.
