Cris Lindy-Ping Collection. The Walking Liberty half-dollar series is among the most popularly collected and difficult to complete collections within United States numismatics. This only becomes ever more difficult when attempting to fill it out with collector grade issues. Time and effort were clearly put into the building of this particular Dansco album collection that is complete from 1916 through 1947. HK-449, silver, Manila mint, and sometimes referenced by PCGS as "medal". It is collected as a member of both the U.S. Philippines and the "so-called dollar" series. Struck also in gold and copper, the present silver example is that most often seen. While landing within the choice grade range, one can see this as a superior specimen since the fields appear unusually free from distraction and excellent luster reaches across both sides.
