  • Lot #640 - 1878-CC PCGS MS-63PL (green label)
  • Hammer: $1,150
  • Silver Dollar-Morgan
  • VAM-22, a lesser VAM for 1878-CC characterized by die chips within each "C" of the mintmark. With well over 2-million struck, 1878-CC is not rare in almost any grade, but the prooflike designation adds a lot of appeal to a well struck, vintage example like this. Hints of lovely russet-gold surround both sides, accenting fair cameo frost floating within nice, semi-watery mirrors.

  • Lot #742 - 1939 MS-66, 1939-D MS-66, and 1939-S MS-65, all PCGS
  • Hammer: $700
  • Half Dollars-Walking Liberty
  • A trio of gem and better half-dollars comprise this blazing white presentation. Included are: 1939 (tremendous strike, clean right field and jaw-dropping luster), 1939-D (not quite as well struck as the preceding and filled with delightful frost-white texture), and 1939-S (decently struck in spite of a noticeable bisecting die crack on the reverse). Three coin lot.
