  • Lot #640 - 1878-CC PCGS MS-63PL (green label)
  • Hammer: $1,150
  • Silver Dollar-Morgan
  • VAM-22, a lesser VAM for 1878-CC characterized by die chips within each "C" of the mintmark. With well over 2-million struck, 1878-CC is not rare in almost any grade, but the prooflike designation adds a lot of appeal to a well struck, vintage example like this. Hints of lovely russet-gold surround both sides, accenting fair cameo frost floating within nice, semi-watery mirrors.

  • Lot #676 - 1894 PCGS F-12
  • Hammer: $600
  • Silver Dollar-Morgan
  • Fragile patina clings to either side, and incorporates peach-grey and coral hues. Though smoothed down from moderately heavy wear, some lines remain visible within Liberty's hair and nearly all of the feathers are still delineated within the eagle's right (observed) wing.
