  • 1938, 1940, and 1941 Proof Sets
  • Collector Lots-Proof Sets
  • A tremendous trio of difficult to find early United States proof sets that are each still securely housed in their original government packaging. Included in this run is a 1938, a 1940, and 1941 proof set that all offer above average grades and eye appeal. Each of these sets is still wrapped up in mint tissue and are still in their unbroken cellophane holders. There is zero question to the originality of these sets and that is very difficult to find in today’s marketplace (ck).

  • Lot #471 - 1903 PCGS MS-63
  • Hammer: $1,600
  • Gold $10-Liberty Head Eagle
  • Almost incredibly beautiful for just MS-63, what sets this eagle so far above others of similar technical merit is the eye-catching semi-prooflike appearance gleaming from both sides. Struck to an intense level of sharpness and assured of sailing far beyond typical value for choice examples.
