  • Lot #596 - 1859-O BU
  • Silver Dollar-Liberty Seated
  • Cochrane Gambit Consignment. Cataloger's grade: [MS-61], the appearance highly reminiscent of 1859-O dollars from the famed bag hoard found decades ago. Outstanding luster and a terrific strike show fully across both sides such that the coin appears somewhat more appealing than the assigned grade might suggest.

  • Lot #586 - 1869 PCGS PR-64CAM
  • Hammer: $4,800
  • Silver Dollar-Liberty Seated
  • 18 graded PR-64 CAM, 12 higher at PCGS. A large crescent of vintage, flimsy autumn-gold rests above and below a central steely grey streak across the middle of the obverse while the reverse has become entirely infused with the same autumn gold. The strike borders upon perfection, showing faint softness perhaps above the eagle's left (observed) talon. Merely 600 proof examples were struck, this an unorthodoxly attractive specimen.

  • Lot #307 - Native American Unsigned Squash Blossom
  • Hammer: $425
  • Jewelry-Silver
  • Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and an 8-stone Naja at the bottom. The design of the piece is mostly original with a slight twist on modernism. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 28”, 5.78 troy ounces.
