Newcomb-2. Stray hairlines play right into the NGC "cleaned" disclaimer, but they are very faint and hardly worth noting. Ample time in a paper envelope should help, but then one would not be able to appreciate heavy doubling on LIBERTY, as well as energetic luster and a fair amount of copper-red adjacent to broadly mahogany surfaces.

Morals And Liberty Collection. Kagin-3 (R.6). Formed in New York City, the firm of Norris, Gregg & Norris moved west to San Francisco following the discovery of gold at Sutter's Mill. They struck a five-dollar coin in Benicia City, a suburb of San Francisco, and these very rare coins are avidly sought by collectors today. NGC grades this reddish-gold five as MS-61, likely reflecting in part a rather weak strike as well as delicately hairlined fields.
