  • Lot #590 - 1799 PCGS VF details/repaired
  • Silver Dollar-Draped Bust
  • Rebel Yell Collection. Bolender-12, BB-160, and an earlier die-state we believe, unless surface repairs effaced die cracks that help attribute the die state. Sharpness appears to fall about midway between VF and XF, leading to an early dollar with wonderfully bold major details. Despite overall abrading of the surface, especially the obverse, by no means does this coin offend the eye.

  • Silver Commemoratives-Silver Commemoratives Half-Dollars
  • 23 graded MS-67, 6 graded MS-67+, zero higher at NGC. An extremely attractive example of a design not often called "beautiful", NGC pulled out all the stops in correctly calling out superb gem quality for this delightful half-dollar. Pastel bluish grey surfaces gleam with almost pearlescent effect, partially surrounded with dramatic iridescent amber-plum and royal gold hues. Close examination finds a couple of trivial micro-abrasions on the art deco designs, easily in keeping with the assigned grade.

  • Lot #308 - Native American Unsigned Squash Blossom
  • Hammer: $320
  • Jewelry-Silver
  • Circa 1960/1970, this overly large sterling silver (tested, not marked) and chrysocolla squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and a 7-stone Naja at the bottom. With an overly bold design, the stone used in the making emulates a darker grade of turquoise than usually found in this type of necklace. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 26”, 8.40 troy ounces.
