101st Airborne Collection. A group of Standing Liberty quarters was recently extracted from the consignor's Dansco collection, as all the other pieces are circulated. Included are: 1917-D type-2 (MS-62 and extremely original toning that looks much like mint-set patina), 1919 (UNC/FH but showing hazy surfaces), 1925 (Ch BU), 1926-D (UNC but not well struck and showing album color), and 1928 (Ch BU/FH and with attractive turquoise iridescence clinging to the devices. This lot contains a 14K yellow gold pocket watch with a 21 jewel movement that is marked “Elgin Nat'l Watch Co. 1007193”. It is a lever set 12 size open face style watch. This is a beautiful watch that is engraved on the inside back lid with what looks to be “E.E. Inink, Farmington, MO”. Winds, sets and runs. 56.3 dwt.
