Lightly tanned surfaces give this uncut sheet of (12) 1928-G $2 Legal Tender notes a truly organic and original look. This particular series (EA Block) is rarely seen in uncut sheet form and is truly deserving of the Choice About UNC 58 grade given by PMG. Nice centering and a very minor tear are noted (ck).

A very reasonable strike goes beyond expectations for a date often found weak. New Orleans drastically cut production during 1893 to 1895 and churned out indifferently struck dollars. This one is above average in almost every regard except for the number of tiny abrasions that, in aggregate, limit the grade.
