Cochrane Gambit Consignment. Cataloger's grade: [MS-61], the appearance highly reminiscent of 1859-O dollars from the famed bag hoard found decades ago. Mintage: 10,000. 39 graded AU-58, 13 higher at NGC. Impressively close to mint-state, where the population drops off a cliff, either side retains a vast majority of original luster, thinned on highpoint details by trace friction. Tiny scattered abrasions and a few minute hairlines on the reverse below the wreath speak to scant usage in circulation.
