  • Ba-Ga Maidi Collection. William III sixpence, S-3538 (we believe), and an outrageously well-preserved coin from the end of the 1600s. The top third of the obverse shows silvery brilliance, heavily offset by incredible emerald-green, chartreuse-orange and platinum hues, while the reverse features somewhat more sedate, powdery tan-grey patina.

  • Robert Michaels Collection. Cohen-1. It wouldn't seem reasonable for a brown early copper to dazzle the eye with vibrancy, but somehow, this gorgeous burgundy-brown coin offers extensive satiny luster that holds up well to close scrutiny. A razor sharp strike and surfaces free from contact fill in the gaps of expectations of the gem grade level. Stars are mostly boldly detailed and fine dentilation completely surrounds both sides.
