Quarter Dollars-Standing Liberty
101st Airborne Collection. A group of Standing Liberty quarters was recently extracted from the consignor's Dansco collection, as all the other pieces are circulated. Included are: 1917-D type-2 (MS-62 and extremely original toning that looks much like mint-set patina), 1919 (UNC/FH but showing hazy surfaces), 1925 (Ch BU), 1926-D (UNC but not well struck and showing album color), and 1928 (Ch BU/FH and with attractive turquoise iridescence clinging to the devices. Dino-Mite Collection. Effects of a relatively old cleaning have muted the luster somewhat yet this key dime remains reasonably attractive and would easily stand in for a nicer UNC collection. Of course, the cleaning does not affect strike quality, which was good enough to produce completely split and nearly fully rounded bands on the fasces.

A stunning diamond engagement ring with a 4.03 ct. square emerald cut diamond that measures 8.94x8.53x6.02mm, VS1 clarity, I color, good polish, good symmetry, no fluorescence, GIA report #12998814. There are .60 cttw in baguette cut side diamond, .60 cttw in bullet cut side diamonds and .06 cttw in bezel set round brilliant cut diamonds, VS-SI1 clarity, H-I color. The ring has a lovely profile design and vintage feel overall. Approximate Ring Size 4 (with sizing beads), 4.7 dwt.
