101st Airborne Collection. A group of Standing Liberty quarters was recently extracted from the consignor's Dansco collection, as all the other pieces are circulated. Included are: 1917-D type-2 (MS-62 and extremely original toning that looks much like mint-set patina), 1919 (UNC/FH but showing hazy surfaces), 1925 (Ch BU), 1926-D (UNC but not well struck and showing album color), and 1928 (Ch BU/FH and with attractive turquoise iridescence clinging to the devices. Robert Michaels Collection. Newcomb-7, a slightly less common variety for 1856 showing upright digits in the date. Glorious and blatantly choice Hershey-brown blankets the surface and manifests decent luster despite the vintage patina. Design elements are beautifully struck and the whole coin has successfully dodged even small contact marks.

This is a genuine statement piece with a design that is big and bold and features large spider web turquoise cabs that appear to be from the Kingman mine. Excellent condition with a dark patina to the metal. 5.59 troy ounces.
