Cheddars de Voirs Collection. Overton-112 continued use of the worn obverse die for O-111a except that a crack immediately developed in the obverse right field, noticeable on this reasonably original slate-grey example. A limited number of tiny circulation marks have collected across the surface, unafflicted by any singularly major blemishes. Indeed, both sides show effects of only normal, honest circulation, accented by evidence of brief album toning just inside both rims.

1 graded MS-64+, 14 higher at NGC. For a date sometimes found prooflike, this is a fully lustrous and matte-textured example that offers screaming vibrancy. Neither side can be called fully struck but prominently details are boldly sculpted and accented with smidges of olive-bronze toning. A carbon spot rests on the end of uppermost arrowhead on the reverse.
