A prime example of a “conditional rarity,” there is a near twenty-five-fold jump in Greysheet bid for the 1883-S Morgan between the MS-60 and MS65 grades. Unquestionably mint state, no large marks protrude from the surface; particularly the obverse was spared from the usual ‘bagginess’ often evident in the MS-61 and MS-62 designations.
