Large Cents-Classic Head
Sheldon-281, no clash marks and thus suggestive of an earlier strike. This Sheldon variety always seems to come a little softly struck yet the headband shows plainly and most definition within the strands of hair are nicely rendered. PCGS states "cleaned" but a more thorough inspection suggests that corrosion has been relieved from the surface, the whole coin later recolored nicely and nearly to the state of an original piece.

Pacific Coast Highway Collection. KM#279 and struck upon Friedrich I's death. Sensational eye-appeal differs from side to side as the satin-laden obverse displays gorgeous chartreuse-green and peach-gold hues. The reverse offers finely frosted texture that glows with apricot-gold in the centers surrounded by deeper russet-gold hues near the rim.

This cool cocktail ring has an 8mm pink star sapphire (minor abrasions and imperfections on the surface of the stone) with a halo of round diamonds as well as a shield cut and bullet baguette on the side. Altogether the diamonds weigh an estimated 1.00 cttw, SI clarity, J-L color. Ring size 7, 6.2 dwt.
