The Trade silver dollar is among the shortest-lived series of coins to ever be issued by the United States Mint and that creates a supply shortage that is easily noticed by any collector of the type. There are nine examples of this short-lived series in this group lot that includes the following: an 1876 (AU details, cleaned), 4x 1877 (XF), 3x 1877-S (XF details, cleaned), and an 1878-S (F). Circulated dollars all represent San Francisco for this PCGS trio. Included are: 1892-S (thin grey patina on the obverse against a little stronger smoky haze on the reverse), 1902-S (windmill energy and very light wear although the portrait shows myriad tiny circulation nicks), and 1903-S (wonderfully original ash-grey patina and showing a faint, small scrape left of the chin). Three coin lot.
