  • Lot #300 - 1873 25C octagonal BG-727 MS-65, 1873 25C octagonal BG-728, and an 1873 25C round BG-872 MS-64, all PCGS
  • California Fractional Gold-California Fractional Gold
  • Cheddars de Voirs Collection. A remarkable trio of California fractional gold, specifically 25-cent pieces, comprises this PCGS grouping. Included are: BG-727 (astonishingly high grade and blatantly prooflike), BG-728 (drenched in curiously lackluster greenish hue and unusually well struck), and BG-872 (rather outstanding citrus-gold on the obverse and lemon-yellow on the reverse with semi-prooflike reflectivity). Three coin lot.

  • Lot #650 - 1889-CC PCGS F-15

  • Silver Dollar-Morgan
  • Almost ridiculous in terms of extreme, original preservation, a thick pile of medium grey patina could practically be flaked off the surface with a fork. Curiously shiny lavender hue traces over the rims, joined by subtle similar accents elsewhere on some highpoint details. A strangely compelling key Carson City dollar.

  • Lot #307 - Native American Unsigned Squash Blossom
  • Hammer: $425
  • Jewelry-Silver
  • Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and an 8-stone Naja at the bottom. The design of the piece is mostly original with a slight twist on modernism. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 28”, 5.78 troy ounces.
