  • Lot #285 - 1837 Feuchtwanger 3C New York Coat of Arms PCGS VF-25
  • Hammer: $950
  • Collector Lots-Tokens
  • Elm Then Almond Collection. HT-262, and we assume a reeded edge planchet struck in so-called German silver. Liberty & Justice dominate the obverse and feature minimal fine details at this moderately worn level of preservation. No contact marks can be seen on the reverse while less than a handful of abrasions make their way to the obverse.

  • Lot #333 - 1852-D Rotated Dies PCGS AU-55
  • Hammer: $3,500
  • Gold Dollars-Liberty Head
  • Misaligned dies are common to the 1852-D, this one struck practically in medallic alignment. Overall, this also appears to be a decently struck example, albeit the dies came together on the usual substandard planchet that seems to have plagued Dahlonega. Lemon-gold hue and clashing and die-cracks meet expectations for this issue.
