2002 remains the only repeat design year in the entirety of the silver panda series. This peculiar date has precisely the same design as the 2001 production run; a panda wading through a bamboo forest. While this non-change was not popular and eventually overturned the following year in 2003, 2002 remains more difficult than average to procure in a MS-70 grade. Presented here are four in such a designation, all NGC certified.

Circa 1950/1960 this unknown maker Old Pawn sterling silver (tested) turquoise squash blossom necklace features turquoise cabs that look like they might be from the Fox Mine of Nevada. The necklace has a five stone Naja pendant and 10 blossoms. The reverse of the Naja is inscribed with what we believe to be a pawnbroker’s numbers, which is rare to find. The necklace is in excellent condition with vintage patina. Length 26”, 6.64 troy ounces.
