  • Lot #522 - Seven 1900 PCGS MS-64
  • Hammer: $21,750
  • Gold $20-Liberty Head Double Eagle
  • Sharply struck devices team together with nearly flaw free fields throughout this seven-piece group lot of 1900 $20 gold Liberty Double Eagles that have all been certified by PCGS as MS-64. Each of these nearly Gem examples offer more than adequate luster levels for the assigned grade. Additionally, four of the seven issues boast a very attractive pumpkin orange appeal with the remaining three offering a much more traditional yellow-gold backdrop (ck).

  • Lot #473 - 1903-O PCGS MS-63
  • Hammer: $2,100
  • Gold $10-Liberty Head Eagle
  • 49 graded MS-63, 10 higher at NGC. Much of the mintage of 112,771 pieces must have been set aside because 1903-O seems to be the most common New Orleans eagle. Seen here is the classic satiny luster that somehow also portrays coarse subtexture throughout. A pleasing khaki-gold example that appears to be highly original.
