Lot #735 - 1921 Peace, High Relief NGC MS-64
Silver Dollar-Peace
Despite considerable almond-orange toning across both sides, this high-relief dollar exhibits unusually prosperous luster for a coin that didn't quite meet gem expectations at NGC. Some reed marks and other random surface tics deny upgrade, but most collectors will appreciate a rather prudent strike for the type.

A trio of gold coins in older PCGS holder may well appeal to type collectors. Included are: 1851 quarter-eagle (dazzling luster beneath corn-gold accents surprises the viewer given seven points of wear), 1874 dollar (tortoise shell luster and generally nice except for a mulberry stain on the reverse), and 1924 double-eagle (fabulous strike yet showing some curious haze worthy of removal consideration). Three coin lot.
