Dimes-Capped Bust
JR-5, one of the common and well produced die-marriages for the Capped Bust dime series. Exquisite details received an amazing strike from the dies, also creating very decent cartwheel luster gleaming from the bright surfaces. Very few trivial sliding abrasions from past storage probably deny a truly choice grade assessment, but most collectors will see ample quality for only MS-62.

Choice-plus examples comprise this pairing. First is 1893 with a flurry of tiny bag abrasions on the obverse, fewer on the reverse and very good luster over a tremendous strike. 1897 displays fewer abrasions overall than its companion but also shows a moderate abrasion right on the cheek.
