Copeland Society Consignment. Cataloger's grade: [MS-63]. A decent strike given the mint of origin; the reverse appears a little sharper than the obverse. Outstanding cartwheel effect energizes the choice eye-appeal, while technical aspiration is limited by a number of delicate abrasions on the cheek and a few additional sliding abrasions in the reverse fields.

Although not truly rare, the 1882-CC sports that all-consuming mintmark that many collectors cannot resist, and the attractive sub-hundred thousand mintage helps ensure forever popularity of the date.
