Silver Dollar-Liberty Seated
Cochrane Gambit Consignment. Cataloger's grade: [MS-61], the appearance highly reminiscent of 1859-O dollars from the famed bag hoard found decades ago. Outstanding luster and a terrific strike show fully across both sides such that the coin appears somewhat more appealing than the assigned grade might suggest.

Gold $3-Indian Princess Head
Scott Laiter Collection. 41 graded MS-61, 37 higher at NGC. While more available as a date within the series, 1868 is at least not one of the truly common emissions. Without aid of a loupe, MS-61 almost seems too low given the lovely semi-flashy luster often seen for the date. Traces of lavender-gold show on both sides.

This 18K pocket watch has a beautiful movement marked “E.KOEN, GENEVE, No 77628”. Unfortunately, the chiming mechanism doesn't seem to work. On the inside lid it is engraved “Fr. Stanley Goodwin, Christmas 1891, H.R. EKEGREN GENEVA” and the outside back lid has a fancy monogram of “C.H.S.” Winds, sets and runs. 72.9 dwt.
