  • Lot #853 - 1901 NGC PR-67 Star CAMEO CAC
  • Nickels-Liberty Head
  • 31 graded PR-67 CAM, 1 graded PR-67 CAM "star", 7 higher at NGC. Statistically, UCAM proof nickels minted after 1900 are highly elusive, and even this astonishing jewel shows UCAM contrast only the obverse, the reverse "merely" CAM. Exquisitely preserved and never mishandled, hairlines avoid the fields completely and the most careful examination finds no contact marks of any kind.

  • Lot #340 - 1857 NGC MS-65
  • Hammer: $2,700
  • Gold Dollars-Indian Princess Head, Large Head
  • Nearly tremendous quality fuses together the appeal of velvety, matte surfaces and virtually immaculate preservation, aside from an occasional stray hairline. Overall strike quality exceeds expectations, perhaps because the dies were not as strongly clashed as is often seen for 1857.
