Lightly tanned surfaces give this uncut sheet of (12) 1928-G $2 Legal Tender notes a truly organic and original look. This particular series (EA Block) is rarely seen in uncut sheet form and is truly deserving of the Choice About UNC 58 grade given by PMG. Nice centering and a very minor tear are noted (ck).

Mastodon Collection. KM#270, Valletta mint, 0.216 oz. The rustic golden hue yields to purplish accents nearer the edges, perhaps characteristic of incomplete alloying of the flan. The cataloger could not find any of the adjustment marks often seen for the 10-scudi type.
