The Trade silver dollar is among the shortest-lived series of coins to ever be issued by the United States Mint and that creates a supply shortage that is easily noticed by any collector of the type. There are nine examples of this short-lived series in this group lot that includes the following: an 1876 (AU details, cleaned), 4x 1877 (XF), 3x 1877-S (XF details, cleaned), and an 1878-S (F). Powdery olive-grey patina covers the entire surface and earns some accolades for appearing fully original. Technically, the mintmark is a little bit away from being "Strong" as per PCGS designation, but it is distinctively complete and readable even without a loupe. Nice, smooth wear overall has created limited darker accents within the recesses.
