The appearance is virtually every bit of Choice BU, including outstanding, full luster that runs uninterrupted through the fields, as well as razor-sharp details. Collectors of the series are not wont to underestimate the difficulty of locating a nice, very-good 1916-D dime with no problems. This example, slightly glossy on the obverse but showing rich dove-grey patina on the reverse, boasts strong, fully rims and portions of the vertical lines within the fasces. A very difficult example that clearly spent decades within an old Whitman (or similar) "thumb-buster" coin folder.

This Le Vian ring has a 7x7mm checkerboard faceted rhodolite garnet (minor facet abrasions) surrounded with a diamond halo of white diamond weighing approximately .15 cttw, Si clarity, I color and small champagne diamond accents on the shank. Ring size 6.5 dwt, 3.7 dwt.
