Half Dollars-Barber
101st Airborne Collection. Better grades apply for this group of Barber half-dollar that includes an interesting specimen. Included with CATALOGER GRADE ESTIMATES are: 1902 (VF+, attractive smoky-grey and olive overtones but a small rim bump at 10:00), 1907-O (AU, slate-grey and dove toning a little streaky; this appears to be a "mumps" variety as described in a recent Barber Collectors Society journal, showing a raised area on the cheek), and 1908-S (VF, a bit low-key beneath a blanket of opaque greyish-tan patina). Three coin lot.

Rustic Holidays Collection. Seemingly a surefire crossover candidate to any legitimate grading service, the surface exhibits even yellow-golden hue from every viewing angle except for an occasional, minute crumble of tobacco brown. Despite delicate cracking around the periphery of the obverse die, both sides display sophisticated details and agreeable cartwheel effect.
