This lustrous example from a low emission of 72-thousand pieces somehow managed to elude the typical bagmarks that limit grade for most New Orleans eagles. That said, a peculiarly bold patch of carbon rests at the end of the arrows on the reverse. Rather decently struck for the mint of origin and showing luster aplenty.

With a cool checkerboard faceted laboratory-grown orange sapphire, this modern ring is a fun addition to any collection! The stone measures 10 x 8.01 x5.26mm, GIA Report #2231690506 and while it is man-made, it sure does make a statement! There are small round diamond accents on either side and at the base of the head. Ring size 5.75, 4.2 dwt.
