Included are: 1854 (delicate hairlines subtly traverse the lower portrait, erasing a few contact marks), and 1874 (glittering brightly as is typical of previously edge-mounted examples). Scott Laiter Collection. The Scotsman Cataloger's Choice Award seems fitting for a coin that may not be necessarily inexpensive, yet still can be easy to underestimate. In this particular instance, the cataloger cannot recall seeing another example that displays such an eye-catching amount of color compressed into such a tiny presentation, especially for a relatively mundane grade. Color runs the gamut of peach-green, sunset-yellow and lavender-orange mixed throughout. Further, quality seems at worst on-par with MS-64 as the surface reveals no singularly noticeable abrasions.
