Gold $5-Liberty Head Half Eagle
Large date, large letters. 1842-D wrangles with 1861-D as a contender for the rarest Dahlonega half-eagle, and a high-grade survivor of any description will be in demand by astute collectors. ANACS claims this AU sharpness example to be cleaned, and indeed, glossy lemon-yellow shows across both sides, accompanied by obvious hairlines in the obverse lower right field. Perhaps as important as anything, the surface actually displays a lot fewer abrasions than typical for a southern mint gold coin.

A trio of Greece-Syria tetradrachms represents a fairly common but popular "money of the Bible" series, as designated by NGC. Each has been graded extremely-fine, although as-expected, limited production technology creates a lot of variety herein. One example was nicely centered on a huge flan while the others are more typically smaller diameter with a portion of each obverse more-or-less falling off the edge of the planchet. Three coin lot.
